Kemper has unveiled its latest offerings, the Kabinet and Kone. The former is described as a “lightweight, powerful” cabinet and the latter is an exclusive speaker designed in collaboration with Celestion.

Both are targeted at owners of Kemper’s Profiler products. Paired with the Profiler, the Kabinet offers players the choice of 19 different “speaker characters”, aka imprints. According to Kemper, the imprints include “well-known guitar speakers from Celestion, and many renowned other classic brands, and even rare and particular speakers.”

While the Kabinet is designed to be paired with a Kemper Profiler PowerHead or PowerRack, the brand says it plays nice with other external solid state power amps, too. When using external stereo amps, players can run two Kabinets in stereo. Unpowered Profiler units – Rack, Head and Stage – will require an external power amp to drive the Kabinet.

The Kone, on the other hand, is a 12” full range speaker designed in collaboration with Celestion. Controlled and driven by the Profiler’s DSP, the Kone is touted to deliver “distinct guitar speaker character”. The Kone also allows for further tonal adjustment with “Sweetener” and “Directivity” parameters. According to Kemper, Kones can serve as replacement speakers for any cabinets that fit 12” speakers.

The Kabinet retails for £443.90, while a single Kone retails for £136.60.
