New images depicting a Marshall Blues Breaker pedal reissue have surfaced online in an alleged leak, despite the company previously denying their existence.

Multiple new Instagram image posts made by @luca.guitars yesterday (14 February) showed the alleged Marshall Blues Breaker Vintage Reissue, in its box, with its manual, on a pedalboard, and with its backplate removed.

Last year, German retailer Thomann listed four Marshall overdrive pedal reissues – the Blues Breaker Guv’Nor, Shredmaster and Drivemaster – as available to pre-purchase for £133 either “in several months” or “on request”. Those listings appear to have since been taken down. At the time, Guitar.com asked Marshall about the pedals and were informed by a spokesperson that the images were unofficial. “As much as I love the idea I’m afraid it’s not official and isn’t true,” they said.

Guitar.com has now reached Marshall for comment on the alleged new images.

A report from Guitar Bomb published yesterday (14 February) further claims that “rumours online” suggest an announcement for the pedals will come “around the 24th of February 2023” and that will appear at the UK’s The Guitar Show.
