Milkman Sound has announced the Amp 100 as the latest addition to the brand’s pedalboard amp line-up. Watch the demo below:

The maximum wattage of the new Amp 100 has been doubled to 100 watts, and also now comes with an integrated FET boost circuit and dual control reverb. The pedalboard-sized tube/class D hybrid Amp 100 can drive a 16 ohm-speaker at 50 watts, an 8ohm-speaker at 100 watts and a 4ohm-speaker at 200 watts.

The internal FET boost of the Amp 100 starts at unity gain and can function as an “always on” setting for a subtle boost of the midrange frequencies. The boost sits between the triodes and the 12AX7 preamp tube, preserving the interaction between the instrument input and first tube stage, and also increasing headroom. Users can choose to maintain this headroom to accommodate external drive pedals or to turn up the FET boost and drive the preamp tube into full saturation.

The new dual control reverb system now adds a control for both decay time and reverb blend. Manipulating the decay control can take the Amp 100 from a short room-like reverb to a full tank spring reverb splash.

The Amp 100 is capped off with a new finish as well: black with walnut-coloured end-panels and silver knobs.

The Milkman Sound Amp 100 is available for pre-order at $699. For more information, click here.
