Walrus Audio has released the Lillian Multi-stage Analog Phaser, named after WWII pilot Lillian Yonally.

If its control layout seems familiar, that’s because it’s inspired by the brand’s popular analogue chorus/vibrato unit, the Julia. Where the older pedal features an LFO switch, the Lillian has a Stages switch that modifies the phaser’s voicing. Stage 4 offers warm and tight phasing while Stage 6 delivers a more complex, filtered sound.

The pedal also comes with a D-P-V knob – borrowed from the Julia – that lets you blend between dry, phase shifted, and vibrato sounds. With this, you’ll have greater control over the type of effect and its intensity. Otherwise, you’ll find standard Rate, Width, and Feedback knobs on the Lillian.
