NAMM 2020: We stopped by the Godin booth at NAMM 2020 to check out what was on display.

We saw a gorgeous Imperial acoustic in Laguna Blue – which is Godin’s first foray into dreadnought body shapes, with the blue satin finish adding a touch of vintage class.

We also took a look at the Radium, an electric that combines the design philosophies of Godin’s Stadium and Radiator guitars to create a versatile yet tasteful take on the modern T-style. The guitar comes in an aged black finish with a completely Laurentian basswood body, or a more natural finish for a version of the guitar with a mahogany neck and body core with Laurentian basswood wings.

The two different wood combinations also lend themselves to two different pickup versions, with the fully basswood guitar coming loaded with Zebra humbuckers and the basswood/mahogany guitar with chrome-covered humbuckers.

Godin also showed us the Stadium HT in a see-through white finish – or what Godin called “an acoustic finish for an electric guitar.”
