NAMM 2020: Orange Amplification has brought in Slipknot’s VMan to put its recently announced Bass Butler through its paces. Watch him demo the bi-amp bass rig above.

The compact Bass Butler functions as a full dual-amp rig, squeezed into a moderately-sized pedal form-factor. The two channels allow you to blend full, rumbling clean tones with the distorted bite of a standard guitar amplifier. As VMan demonstrates above, the second channel can be blended in with an expression pedal.

The dual XLR outputs mean that the two amp channels can easily be run into a front-of-house for no-fuss live setups, or an audio interface for easy recording. For a more traditional bass-playing setup, Orange’s 2020 NAMM offerings still have you covered – as they also announced the Little Bass Thing, a powerful 500W solid-state bass head.

More information at orangeamps.com. The Bass Butler will be on display in full at NAMM 2020.
