Neural DSP releases software update for the Quad Cortex which features heavily requested Hybrid Mode

Neural DSP has launched the CorOS 2.0.0 software update for its Quad Cortex floorboard amp modeller, which brings a highly requested Hybrid Mode.

The update focuses “on assignability, access, control, search, and cloud connectivity”, and brings nearly 900 new Neural Captures, as well as other new features and ways of working that should enhance your workflows.
The much-anticipated Hybrid Mode now allows users to combine modes together and assign a separate mode to each row of footswitches. You’ll also be able to remove modes you don’t use, to toggle between three, two, or just a single active mode.
There’s now global functionality, which includes bypass of Cabs, IR Loaders, or Neural Captures of cabs on any rows. A global EQ has been added to Output 1/2 and Output 3/4 and is available via the I/O Settings screen, too.
The majority of the CorOS 2.0.0 update comes in a redesigned Directory, which offers improved managing and organising, and makes locating Presets, Captures, or IRs easier. These are now broken into separate categories in the Directory, and each category can easily be collapsed or expanded as well.
Banks have now been removed from Neural Captures and replaced with a more robust sorting and filtering system, as well as a brand-new Search feature. The number of Captures you can store in the My Captures folder has been helpfully doubled to 2048.
