Old Blood Noise Endeavours have given the Alpha Haunt fuzz pedal a brand-new look.

The 12-control fuzz pedal features the same internals as the original, but sports a reorganised layout with plastic caps for its EQ sliders. The bias knob – which lets you go from fat to splatty sounds – has been replaced by a toggle switch.

The pedal’s enclosure also has also been scaled down to take up a smaller footprint and features new art from Daniel Danger.

The Alpha Haunt was introduced back in 2018 as an expanded version of Old Blood’s popular Haunt fuzz pedal. Its controls include a fuzz control, fuzz range switch, gate, bias control, three-band EQ and an enhance knob. It also has controls for fuzz and master volume.

In our review of the Alpha Haunt, we found it to produce a full and smooth fuzz that runs “all the way from a gentle ‘furring up’ effect to a totally immersive cloud of rich honey-ish noise.”

Watch our demo below:

The Old Blood Noise Endeavours Alpha Haunt is priced at $229 and begins shipping on 4 Februrary 2021.
