Orange says that its Super Crush 100 is “solid-state done right” and promises it offers the same immediacy, definition and character one expects from the brand’s tube offerings.

The Super Crush 100 comes as a head or as a combo with a Celestion G12H-150 speaker.

The all-analogue amp offers clean and dirty channels with two and four gain stages, respectively. The tones you can get out of it are said to go from sparkly cleans and crunchy blues to punishingly heavy distortion.

Meanwhile, the lively 100-watt class A/B power amp is derived from the Orange Pedal Baby 100, which earned our Editor’s Choice Award when we reviewed it in 2019.

There’s also cabinet simulation built-in, which mimics the sound of a 2×12 cab so you can go direct into your recording rig or PA. Plus, you get the option of choosing between an open or closed-back sound.

Rounding off the Super Crush 100’s features are a digital spring reverb module and an FX loop to accommodate your pedals.
