Orange Amplification has expanded its range of available footswitches, introducing the FS1 Mini, a single-button footswitch in a diminutive enclosure.

The pedal was released in response to requests for a smaller footswitch, leaving more room for signal-path pedals on portable ‘boards. As the pedal can engage a variety of different amp modes, it comes with a blank spot above the footswitch and a sheet of stickers of Orange’s trademark amplifier symbols.

The unit also sports a single orange LED to let you know visually what mode you’re in. As a single-button footswitch, it can be used to switch Channels on all twin channel valve amplifiers from the brand, including the Crush 20, Crush 20RT, Crush 35 and Crush Pro amps. It also can be used for engaging reverb on the Rockerverb and Crush Pro Amps and for engaging the Rockerverb and Dual Dark’s attenuator. Alongside this, it can be used as a Master Volume Lift for the OR50, EQ Lift with the Custom Shop 50 as well as Global and Gain Boost for the OR100.

The supplied icon stickers include twelve graphics of Orange’s most popular foot-switchable options: Mute, Clean Channel, Dirty/Fat Channel, Reverb, EQ Lift, Attenuator, Depth, Speed, Volume, Compression, Blend and Gain. There are also three blank stickers that can be customised.

The FS1 Mini lists for £24.99. Find out more at orangeamps.com.
