Positive Grid is collaborating with Zakk Wylde and Wylde Audio to bring guitar players the Spark MINI Zakk Wylde Edition smart guitar practice amp.

Zakk Wylde is best known for being the Ozzy Osbourne guitarist, Black Label Society founder and Pantera touring member. However, yesterday it was announced that he is partnering up with Positive Grid to bring fans his tone in miniature form, with five signature presets that can be accessed via Positive Grid’s free ToneCloud tone-sharing app.

The amp itself is battery-powered, and dons fairly simple controls. It also can be used as an amplifier as it allows for Bluetooth connection or an audio interface for recording musical ideas.

Speaking about the new amps, Wylde has said “Holy shit, these things are tiny. But they’re loud as hell! These custom BLS Spark MINI’s look incredible, and they’ll look even better on your desk,” he continues, “I’ve had one on tour with me over the last couple weeks, and it hasn’t left my side.”

Positive Grid is limiting the release to only 100 units which have been hand signed and numbered by Wylde himself. The amp also includes a custom front grille featuring Black Label Society’s ‘Skully’ design”.

From 14 February (yesterday) until 28 February, you can sign up to be put into the draw, before 100 lucky entrants will be randomly selected for their chance to purchase the limited edition amplifier.

You can head to PositiveGrid.com for more information about how to enter the draw.
