PRS announces limited-edition SE Custom 24 model with laurel burl veneer
A striking, exotic veneer for a staple of the SE line.
Hot on the heels of its S2 Vela Semi-Hollow model, PRS has released a limited-edition SE Custom 24 piece with laurel burl veneer.
This offering joins a list of exotic veneers already offered on SE Custom 24 models, including zebrawood, ziricote and spalted maple. Other than its new look, this limited-edition piece retains all the SE Custom 24 specs, which includes a maple top, mahogany body, maple neck and 10-inch-radius rosewood fretboard with Birds inlay.
There are no changes on the electronics front, either. The axe sports two 85/15 ‘S’ humbuckers wired to a master volume knob, a master tone knob with push/pull function and a three-way pickup selector.
