When you mess around with guitar pedals, you may feel like a big kid at heart. Well, Reverb has taken that idea to its logical conclusion, and let four kids run riot with 12 effects pedals. You can watch the results above.

The pedals tested by the quartet include the Walrus Julia, The Flower Pedals Dandelion, the MXR Phase 90, the Dunlop 50th Anniversary Cry Baby wah, the EQD spatial Delivery, the EQD Pitch Bay, the Bondi Effects Art Van Delay, the Danelectro Spring King, Matthews Effects’ The Astronomer, the Ibanez TS808 Screamer, The Caroline Guitar Company Hawaiian Pizza, – and of course, the ProCo rat, which is the first effects pedal turned on in the clip, prompting the apt reaction of “I feel like it’s screaming!”

To see what effects pedals delighted gearheads of all ages the most this year, check out Reverb’s top-selling pedals of 2019 and of course our Gear of the Year.
