Jackson has added Volbeat guitarist Rob Caggiano to its signature artist roster. Before his signature axe debuts early next year, the guitarist will showcase prototypes during Volbeat’s upcoming summer shows, including their Rewind, Replay, Rebound world tour and outings at Slipknot’s Knotfest Roadshow.

Commenting on his new partnership with Jackson, Caggiano shared how the brand’s guitars shaped his formative guitar-playing years. “I fell in love with a quirky little guitar myself called the Jackson Outcaster in the mid-1990s. It quickly became my main guitar for a few years”, he said.

He also praised the aforementioned prototypes: “Between the playability, the incredible looks and feel, and the killer tone it spits out— I’m really proud of what we’ve come up with so far”.

Prior to joining Volbeat, Caggiano had two stints with Anthrax and earned five Grammy nominations as a record producer and guitarist. You’ll hear his latest guitar works on the Danish rock quartet’s forthcoming album, Rewind, Replay, Rebound, which is out 2 August.
