British guitar string company Rotosound has announced that it will now offer the option to purchase strings that were previously only available in full sets as individual strings.

Every Rotosound set is now able to be mixed and matched, including British Steel, Pure Nickel, polymer-coated Nexus, and Ultramag. The Roto nickel-coated guitar strings and Swing Bass 66 were previously available to be purchased outside of full sets.

The gauges on offer from Rotosound will not change, but the option to mix-and-match strings from entirely different sets could prove incredibly useful for those playing extended range instruments or playing with down-tuned or alternate tunings.

All single Rotosound strings will be sold in air-tight packaging, meaning they won’t have already tarnished before they find themselves put on a guitar.

Single strings are available now from Rotosound dealers worldwide. Find out more at rotosound.com.
