Sire teams with Larry Carlton on three electric guitar models

A trio of classic-inspired guitars in an array of traditional finishes.

Sire has teamed up with Larry Carlton on a trio of affordable electric guitar models: the Larry Carlton H7, L7 and S7.

Larry Carlton H7

The Larry Carlton H7 is a 335-esque model, and comes in either cherry sunburst, vintage sunburst or red.

It has a maple body with a flame maple top, and paired to that, a ‘C’ shaped mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard and 22 medium jumbo frets.

Its pickups include two Larry Carlton Vintage humbuckers, controlled via two volume knobs, two tone pots and a three-way toggle switch.

The second electric on offer is the Larry Carlton L7, an LP-shaped guitar. it comes in a variety of looks: trans blue, tobacco sunburst and gold top. Its body construction uses mahogany, hard maple and a flamed veneer. Together with that, you’ll find a ‘C’ shaped mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard.

Pickups on the L7 are a pair of Larry Carlton Modern humbuckers, and you can control them with two volume knobs, two tone knobs and a three-way toggle switch.

The last of the trio is a S-style guitar, the Larry Carlton S7. This one features a HSS configuration where you get a Sire Super-ST Pickup set. The S7 features an alder body, and bolted onto that, a roasted hard maple neck with a matching maple fingerboard. There’s also a Sire modern tremolo bridge and Sire locking tuners. This guitar comes in either Arctic White, Tobacco Sunburst or Sherwood Green.

Additionally, there’s a second variant to the S7s, which costs a little extra, but has the guitar finished in either trans black, trans blue or natural.

Pricing and availability

The H7 and L7 are available now at £517 and £499, respectively. Meanwhile, the S7 guitars are either £475 or £517, depending on which finish you choose.
