Vox has launched the SDC-1 mini, a compact guitar that’s great for travel, children, or adults with smaller hands.
According to the brand, the SDC-1 mini delivers the sound and feel of a full-sized electric guitar despite its short 479mm scale format and petite body. To ensure tuning stability on this shorter scale, Vox has fitted this “hatchet” with specially designed high gear ratio tuning heads. Other features of the guitar include a poplar body, maple neck, Purple Heart fretboard and a single mini humbucker in the bridge position.
And if you’re wondering just how travel-friendly the SDC-1 mini is, it weighs just over 2kgs or 4.6lbs.
