Victory Amplification has launched the VC35 The Copper, a 35-watt all-valve addition to the Compact Series of amp heads.

The amp is a single-channel head driven by four EL84 power tubes for a classic British valve tone. It features a three-band EQ, alongside gain, reverb, tone and master volume knobs. For further sculpting, there’s also a bass cut and a mid boost toggle switch.

The reverb is the same digital reverb as found in the V40, while the gain sweeps from jangly clean tones to high-gain classic rock. The tone knob functions as a treble cut when turned anti-clockwise. The 35 watts on tap from the amplifier should kick out more than enough volume for any situation, but for lower-volume playing, there’s a seven-watt mode that can be engaged.

The Victory VC35 is finished in metallic copper, in the same style of enclosure as the rest of the Compact Series. For a final aesthetic flair, pick up the V212-VB – an open-backed 2×12 speaker cabinet finished in brown vinyl to match your VC35. The vertical cab is loaded with a Celestion G12M Greenback and a Celestion G12H Anniversary.
