In recent years, Warwick has wowed YouTube viewers with a video series that documents the Custom Shop/Masterbuilt team building guitars and basses. After a brief hiatus, Making Of has returned with a new episode giving us a behind-the-scenes look at how an exquisite Streamer LX four-string bass is crafted.

The nine-minute video is segmented into different building stages. We’re taken on a journey that begins at truss rod installation and ends with headstock engraving. Highlights on the building path include meticulous CNC routing processes – for both the ziricote fingerboard and Wild Flamed Maple body – as well as the lacquering process that puts a shine on the Nirvana Red Burst finish.

Watch the entire bass-building process in the video above.
