NAMM 2020: Warwick has released the super-limited-edition BO LTD 2020 Teambuilt and NT LTD 2020 Masterbuilt basses, both of which are available in four- and five-string as well as left- and right-handed configurations.

The BO Teambuilt model comes in Warwick’s Thumb body shape and features a satin-finished one-inch mahogany burl top. The bass’ natural look is further complemented by a laminated Ovangkol bolt-on 34-inch neck, 24-fret wild mahogany fingerboard and gold hardware. Hardware specifications include a set of active MEC J/J pickups, active Warwick two-way electronics, a two-piece Warwick bridge and Warwick Security S-Security Locks.

Meanwhile, the premium NT Masterbuild model features a natural satin-finished mahogany burl body with a matching headstock. The hidden neck-through construction promotes the transference of string vibration energy along the wenge neck, which comes with a 26-fret wild mahogany fingerboard. The Thumb-shaped NT Masterbuild sports the same hardware features as the BO Teambuilt model, but with the inclusion of Graph Tech Ratio machine heads.

The BO LTD 2020 Teambuilt and NT LTD 2020 Masterbuilt will receive a strictly limited worldwide production run of only 100 and 25 instruments respectively. While these basses do command a hefty premium, their handmade provenance, premium specifications and limited availability make them an attractive proposition.

The NT LTD 2020 Masterbuilt and BO LTD 2020 Teambuilt are available at prices ranging between $3,790 and $6,990. For more information, click here.
