The Rolling Stones’ guitar player and living legend Keith Richards has revealed the one guitar he simply can’t live without. The question was presented to him as part of his “Ask Keith” video series, in which fans send in questions for the Start Me Up man to answer.

Unsurprisingly, his answer was “If I only had one, I’d have to go with my Telecaster.” While his answer hasn’t exactly shocked the guitar world, he conveniently doesn’t reveal which Tele in particular he’s talking about.

Richards has played a plethora of Telecasters over the years, but we can only assume the guitar he’s referring to is the model he received from Eric Clapton on his 27th birthday in 1970. Nicknamed Micawber, Keef’s beloved Tele features a PAF humbucker in the neck position and sports only five strings in Open G Tuning.
