Way Huge’s Chalky Box is now available

A special edition of the Way Huge Saucy Box, entitled the Chalky Box, is now available to order. The pedal comes finished in chalkboard paint, for a completely custom finish.
Announcing the pedal on Instagram, Way Huge explained: “That’s right, this Chalky Box is covered with chalkboard paint and comes with your very own set of chalk so that you can give it your own personal artistic touch”
The chalk in question is a very nostalgic set of Crayola chalk, so you can name the pedal something hilarious, or meaningful to you. Or decorate it with some abstract expressionism. It’s really all on you.
Aside from the interesting coat of paint, the pedal is internally identical to the Saucy Box – a versatile overdrive pedal with standard volume, drive and tone controls. It uses discrete clean and overdrive signal paths, blended together with the drive control for a responsive, dynamic drive sound, which at lower settings can function like a buffered clean boost, and at higher settings more like a thick amp drive channel.
