Zvex Effects and Chase Bliss Audio have confirmed their partnership on a brand-new stompbox – and by the looks of teasers, it’s likely a fresh take on the revered Zvex Fuzz Factory.

The veteran pedal builders announced their collaboration in a series of Instagram posts over the weekend (7 November) – beginning with a video post explaining how the partnership came to be.

“Joel Korte [Founder, Chase Bliss Audio] and I have collaborated on a pedal together – as a result of both of us being in The Pedal Movie,” shared Zachary Vex, founder of Zvex Effects. “We worked together for many years at Zvex effects; designing pedals.”

Korte, who spent an early portion of his career at at Zvex, added: “Working at Zvex was the reason I fell in love with guitar pedals. And I’ve actually been thinking about this design for years, I’ve really wanted to make this for some time.”

The post from also hinted that an official announcement will drop tomorrow (10 November). Take a look below.

Chase Bliss Audio yesterday (8 November) gave a first look at the device, once again teasing an official announcement with the caption: “Tuesday.” Take a look below.

In Chase Bliss’ latest teaser, the brand shared an animated history of the Fuzz Factory, captioned with the hashtag: “#BlissFactory”.
