Gibson premieres original programming on Gibson TV
Gibson’s first-ever all-original network will stream free content via Gibson.com.
Gibson has announced the premiere of Gibson TV, the Nashville guitar maker’s first-ever free online television network.
The platform launched yesterday with the first episodes of the series The Process (shown above) and The Collection, now available for streaming via Gibson.com. Viewers can also subscribe to Gibson TV’s YouTube channel for updates on future releases.
Production for Gibson TV is being led by the company’s Director of Brand Experience Mark Agnesi and Project Coordinator of Entertainment Relations Todd Harapiak, with seven series announced so far.
The Process
Season one of this landmark series will give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the Gibson USA Factory in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Collection
Agnesi hosts this series, which looks at the extraordinary personal guitar collections of notable artists.
The Scene
Also hosted by Agnesi, this travel and lifestyle series researches noteworthy music destinations around the US.
My First Gibson
This storytelling-driven series explores artists’ stories of how and why they acquired their first Gibson guitar, while also diving into their music history, influences and playing style.
Icons
This series of longform interviews focuses on iconic artists, producers and music business pioneers.
Behind The Board
This retrospective series is dedicated to musicians and producers as they reflect on the recording process of their most ground-breaking and inspired albums.
The Songbook
Driven by live, acoustic performances, this series showcases both up-and-coming and renowned artists.
