Grez Guitars’ Mendocino semi-hollow has been lauded for its top-notch construction, tonewoods and components—and it now comes as a baritone version.

The Mendocino Baritone has all the good stuff of its forebear, including the latter’s compact size. It has a solid redwood top, solid Honduran mahogany neck, back and sides, a Macassar ebony fretboard, Lollar goldfoil pickups, and a TonePros AVR2 bridge. The only differences here are its 28.5-inch scale length and the option of adding a Bigsby unit.

“The baritone version [of the Mendocino] is a great addition and really starts to build a ‘line’ of production guitars for us,” Grez’s Barry Grzebik said. “The lively and wide-ranging tone of the Mendocino lends itself well to the extended range of a baritone instrument.”

The Mendocino Baritone is available in Black and Natural, and lists for $2,800. For more information, check out grezguitars.com.
