From the boutique crafters famed for replicating iconic Fender amps comes the new Corduroy. The latest release from Headstrong Amps seeks to emulate the Fender 6G3 Brown Deluxe, an amp renowned for its clarity and ample headroom.

The Corduroy delivers 20 watts of power using a pair of TAD 6V6 power tubes, and boasts two channels, “Normal” and “Bright,” with a high and low input for each. This unit also boasts a bias vary tremolo that creates warm and authentic tremolo sounds, on top of a solid finger-jointed pine cabinet.

This unit comes in three variations: as a head, and as combos with either a ten- or 12-inch George Alessandro-designed Eminence GA-SC64 speaker. Plonk down an additional $100 to upgrade the speaker to an Alnico one.
