After unveiling it at Winter NAMM 2018, Ernie Ball has just started shipping out the Expression Tremolo. And to entice potential buyers, the brand has dropped a demo video featuring Blues Saraceno working his magic with the unique pedal—check that out below.

The Expression Tremolo packs in five waveforms—Slow Rise, Slow Fall, Sine, Square and Harmonic—as well as a sprightly spring reverb. You can control the depth and rate of the trem via two knobs on the unit’s front panel, or assign those parameters (either one or both at the same time) to the expression pedal itself. So you can go from quick pulses to voluminous swells just by rocking your foot.

And like all of Ernie Ball’s other expression pedals, this one is almost indestructible. It has a thick “aircraft aluminum” chassis and a PVC-coated braided Kevlar cord that “improves strength, increases traction and ensures consistent tension.” Sounds like it could take a bullet.

The Ernie Ball Expression Tremolo retails for $199.99. For more information, check out ernieball.com.
