Hotone has become synonymous with miniaturising effects pedals for electric guitar. However, the Performance Series is aimed at acoustic musicians who need a practical preamp to take on the stage or to the studio. They come in pedal form and the range consists of two new models: “A Station” is a multi purpose DI and mic-pre, and “B Station” is DI and preamp for Bass Guitars.

Hotone A Station

A Station is for the acoustic guitarist (or any acoustic musician) who needs to boost their instrument or microphone signal for live set-ups. It has an XLR microphone input and ¼ inch jack DI for instruments, it also has a three band EQ onboard as well as a notch filter for eliminating feedback. There’s an effects loop and mute switch for cutting the signal (for tuning on-stage).

  • Compact size, rock solid aluminum casing
  • Powerful 3-band EQ for enhancing and shaping your instrument tone
  • Notch filter with frequency control for eliminating unwanted feedback
  • Pristine DI output for feeding the signal directly to the mixer or for recording
  • 1/4” parallel output for connecting acoustic amps or other gear
  • High quality microphone preamp with phantom power
  • Switchable FX Loop for extended instrument and vocal dimension
  • Mute function for silent tuning and safe connection
  • Boost function for stand out solos or boosting weak instrument signals
  • 9V DC or 9V battery power supply

Hotone B Station

B Station is designed for Bass Guitar. It has a preamp and DI so you can connect the Bass directly to a mixer or PA system, but it also carries a three band EQ, a drive unit and a single control compressor so you can smooth out and fatten up your tone before your signal leaves the stage.

    • Compact size, rock solid aluminum casing
    • Powerful 3-band EQ with pre/post selection for enhancing and shaping your bass tone
    • DRIVE channel with a wide tonal range from slight overdrive to mass distortion
    • Carefully designed, set-to-forget optical compressor onboard
    • BLEND knob for combining driven signal and direct signal
    • Pristine DI output for feeding the signal directly to the mixer or for recording
    • FX Loop for extended bass effects
    • Different outputs (XLR out, 1/4” output, 1/4” parallel output) to run through bass amps, audio interfaces, mixers, and other gear
    • PHONES jack for silent practice
    • Ground lift function for eliminating ground-related noise
    • 9V DC or 9V battery power supply

Pricing and availability
A Station and B Station will both be available soon with a suggested street price of: €149.99 // £129.99
