PRS has unveiled the roster of artists for its 2021 Pulse Artists programme, which was announced earlier this year.

The Pulse Artists Programme launched with eleven artists, a group which has now been greatly expanded with players from across the world – fourteen countries, to be specific, including the USA. PRS also notes that “the 2021 Pulse Artist class also represents a diverse range of playing styles and reflects the global scope of the program.”

The programme’s goal is to reconfigure the relationship between up-and-coming artists and gear companies – placing them alongside PRS artists such as Carlos Santana, Mark Tremonti, and John Mayer, recognising the impact they’re having on their local scene and amplifying their presence beyond that scene. Pulse Artists are granted exclusive discounts on guitars, amps, and accessories through their local PRS dealer.

Bev Fowler, director of PRS’ artist relations, said of the announcement: “We were thrilled to receive so many applications from such talented players who already have a love for the PRS brand. There is so much undiscovered talent in the world of music, and we wanted to develop a program that helps to support influential regional players while helping fans and musicians discover each other. The Pulse Program has already produced those types of connections, and we hope this new community of artists continues to connect and grow.”
