NAMM 2020: IsoAcoustics’ Stage 1 Board and Iso-Puck 76 aim to improve amp tone
The Canadian brand announces an updated design and a series expansion.

NAMM 2020: IsoAcoustics has announced an updated design for its award-winning Stage 1 Board and a new entry in the Iso-Puck series.

The new version of the Stage 1 Board now comes with integrated Stage 1 isolators, elevating the board off the ground. This reduces resonance through support surfaces and prevents internal reflections from returning back up the speaker or amp cabinet. By minimising the vibrational variables, the Stage 1 Board is able to provide sonic consistency. Guitar/bass combo amps, keyboard amps, stage monitors and sub-offers can all be used with the Stage 1 Board.

The Iso-Puck 76 is designed for heavier studio monitors, speakers and subwoofers, and is the largest member of the Iso-Puck series so far, measuring 76mm wide. Iso-Pucks are designed to be affixed to the bottom of audio equipment, sitting between the device and the support structure. This arrangement decouples the device from the surface, dampening resonance and improving audio clarity, stereo imaging and focus.
The IsoAcoustics Stage 1 Board and Iso-Puck 76 are now available at $99 (£99) and $79.99 (£79.99), respectively. For more information, click here.
