ISP Technologies unveils the Deci-Mate
It’s noise reduction in a micro package.
ISP Technologies has launched the Deci-Mate noise gate pedal, which combines the brand’s flagship Decimator circuit with a pedalboard-friendly enclosure.
The Deci-Mate also features new Decimator X technology, which makes use of time vector integration and negates any modulation of the note. This allows you to achieve a buttery-smooth decay with very little to no change in the notes played.
Otherwise, it’s the same, acclaimed Decimator. It features an adaptive release response, which the brand says “tracks the envelope of the signal and instantly changes the release from super fast to a long, smooth release for sustained notes.” In other words, it’s ideal for canceling single-coil hum or cleaning up a high-gain amp.
Like the Decimator II, the only knob to tinker with on this pedal affects the gate’s threshold.
