Jim Dunlop has announced the new Way Huge Smalls Pork & Pickle. Like its predecessor, this compact dirt pedal combines the circuitry of the Pork Loin and Russian-Pickle Fuzz, but houses them in a more pedalboard-friendly Way Huge Smalls enclosure instead.

The new stomp box is an overdrive and fuzz pedal designed for bass guitars. A central switch toggles between the overdrive or fuzz function of the Pork & Pickle. A unique feature of the pedal is its ability to blend in a clean signal, thanks to the Clean Blend and Clean Tone knobs. This aspect of the pedal is based on a modified British-style preamp and can be used with both the overdrive and fuzz functions.

The simple layout of three volume, tone and drive controls allow for straightforward and fuss-free operation of the Pork & Pickle’s primary tone stack. Three additional internal controls allow the user to shape the level, curve and presence of the effect, while the true hard-wire bypass ensures that the signal retains its original character.

Available now and retails for $169.99. More information at jimdunlop.com.
