Joyo has unveiled the Preamp House, a monochrome preamp stomper that houses an astounding 18 amp simulations in one pedal.

Not unlike Strymon’s own recent release, Iridium, the Preamp House offers multiple vintage amp flavours. Joyo’s pedal, however, boasts simulations from nine different amps – ranging from Fender 65 Twin to Marshall JCM 900 to Vox AC30 and more – each with a clean/distortion channel, for a grand total of 18 simulations.

Here’s the full list of the amps:

  • Fender 65 Twin Reverb
  • Marshall JCM 900
  • Vox AC 30
  • Mesa/Boogie Lonestar
  • Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier
  • EVH 5150
  • ENGL Powerball
  • Orange TH 200
  • Friedman BE 100

In terms of controls, the Preamp House features a three-band EQ, a gain knob, a nine-position simulation selector, and A (clean) and B (distortion) channel footswitches. Rounding out the pedal’s features is a built-in cab sim which has a three-way control to switch it between off, 1/4-inch output for use with an FX loop and balanced XLR output for recording.
