NAMM 2020: MONO has revealed the Pedalboard Carbon, a new series of lightweight pedalboards made entirely of carbon fibre for maximum toughness and minimal load.

The Pedalboard Carbon features a new flat design and is made of 100 percent carbon fibre, which offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio for musicians looking for a durable yet lightweight pedalboard option. It also features ergonomic design considerations such as custom-designed anodised aluminium handles – for better grip – as well as rubber protectors to prevent bumps and scratches.

Each pedalboard will ship with a matching MONO M80 Accessory case. Pedalboards in this Carbon series come in three sizes: small, medium and large.

MONO claims that the new Pedalboard Carbon will stand up to even the harshest of touring conditions. “We know that touring musicians demand an efficient and optimised pedal workflow for easier reach, and this pedalboard won’t disappoint,” said Mark Sim, MONO Hardware Product Manager. “No matter which of the three sizes you pick, it makes short work of any conceivable pedal placement and effects signal chain you can imagine.”

Last year, MONO launched the M80 Classic Jumbo Acoustic, designed for jumbo-sized acoustic guitars. Like the rest of the cases in the series, this iteration of the M80 sports premium features that are designed to protect and insulate guitars from fall and weather damage.

The MONO Pedalboard Carbon will be available in Spring at an as-yet-undisclosed price. For more information, click here.
