He performed a variety of songs, including How Long, Angeline, Get You Back and Fade. The set shortly followed the release of a live video for the song Coming Back, which he told us about upon its release. “This was one of the first songs written after all the work for my previous album, How Long,” he said. “I wanted to start a new batch of songs that were relationship-based but focused on the idea of someone or something being irresistible. Coming Back uses substance abuse as an example of not being able to get enough of someone, even if it’s not the best for you.”
He also told us of his excitement for the above set at Guitar.com Live, saying: “I’m just excited to do what I love most, which is play music, in any capacity. I think the fine fans of Guitar.com are all in the same boat as we are, as performers, that miss the entire experience of live music.”
“Though this still isn’t in person, I think it’s such a great idea – and any opportunity to engage and share the love of all things music and guitar is welcomed in my opinion. I haven’t played a real set since March so I’m looking forward to playing some tunes for everybody. Just trying to send some good vibes out there for whoever needs it!”
