Best Coast share a new song, For the First Time, and announce a 2020 album
Always Tomorrow will be the group’s first in five years.
Rock duo Best Coast have shared their latest single, For the First Time. You can watch the video for the new track above.
The video is directed by Kevin Hayes, and features Bethany Cosentino and Bobb Bruno in various settings, including an empty house – all imbued with the nostalgic yet hopeful tone that the song evokes.
The release also comes with the announcement of the upcoming album Always Tomorrow. The first LP release from the band since 2015’s California Nights, details of the record are scant so far – but we do know it will arrive sometime next year. The band are also embarking on a 2020 US tour, beginning in February.
Best Coast were formed by Cosentino and Bruno in 2009, and to date have released three studio albums as well as a ‘kids record’ – Best Kids.
