Billie Eilish has released a version of The Beatles’ classic Something, performing it during her appearance on SiriusXM’s Alt Nation channel. You can take a listen below.

The performance is Eilish’s third of a Beatles track – she’s previously covered Yesterday, during the In Memoriam section of the 2020 Oscars, and she played a ukulele version of I Will on James’ Corden’s Carpool Karaoke.

Eilish joins a huge number of artists to cover Something, with names from Shirley Bassey to Bruce Springsteen taking on the track.

While Eilish is clearly a fan of The Beatles, last year caused a stir with classic rock fans when she admitted to Jimmy Kimmel that she didn’t know any Van Halen songs. While the internet response was divisive, Eddie Van Halen’s son Wolfgang stepped in to defend her.

“If you haven’t heard of Billie Eilish, go check her out. She’s cool,” he tweeted at the time. “If you haven’t heard of Van Halen, go check them out. They’re cool too. Music is supposed to bring us together, not divide us. Listen to what you want and don’t shame others for not knowing what you like.”
