Blossoms have released a cover of The Beatles’ Paperback Writer, recorded in quarantine. You can take a look at the accompanying cut-together video for the track below:

In the video, the band show how the track came together – with the various instrumental parts and vocal harmonies being recorded separately by each member of the band, then mixed together for the final song. It comes as musicians across the world find themselves stuck inside due to various social distancing and lockdown measures. Many have started live-streaming performances from home, or reaching into the archives for never-before-seen footage of concerts.

Blossoms themselves recently released their third studio album, Foolish Loving Spaces, this January, following their Mercury-prize-nominated self-titled debut from 2016 and their 2018 follow up Cool Like You.
