Bob Weir, founding guitarist and vocalist of Grateful Dead, has announced that he will host a New Year’s Eve live stream concert along with his band Wolf Bros.

Two shows will be broadcast from Weir’s TRI Studios on 31 December, one starting at 10 PM EST and one starting at 10 PM PST.

The show will be hosted on fans.live, with tickets available for purchase here starting at $19.99. You can also acquire a T-shirt and poster to remember the show by.

Weir said simply of the stream in a statement, “We’re back and we’re here to light y’all up.”

Weir was meant to take Wolf Bros on tour in 2020, but the plans were cancelled in April of this year when the scope of the pandemic became evident.

As the shows were cancelled, the band said at the time: “The health, well-being, and safety of everyone in our live music community continues to be our priority. We thank you for your continued understanding, support, and love. We can’t wait to get back on the road performing for all of you as soon as we safely can!”
