Fans are jamming virtually with Brian May
Following the challenge issued in his Instagram micro concertos.

Brian May’s fans have responded to the guitarist’s challenge to jam over his play-through of Hammer To Fall on his most recent Instagram micro concert. Since then, self-isolating musicians around the globe have responded by posting videos of themselves jamming along to May’s videos.
One particular group, made up of members living across the UK, US and Spain recorded a complete band cover of Hammer To Fall, including May in the video and sharing the video over YouTube.
Another group – two Italian musicians who make up the duo Cello vs Guitar, played along to several of May’s Instagram videos, including his staple instrumental piece, Last Horizon.
May, like many artists practicing self-quarantine measures worldwide, is taking to social media to share live performances and tutorials. His “Micro Concerto” video series also includes a lesson on the famed middle section solo in Bohemian Rhapsody.
