Brian Setzer has been forced to cancel the Brian Setzer Orchestra’s 16th annual Christmas Rocks! tour due to a severe case of tinnitus. The 20-date tour, due to feature a 19-piece orchestra, was meant to start on 15 November. Refunds are available at point of purchase.

“It’s heartbreaking to disappoint my fans who have shared my Christmas seasons with me for over fifteen years,” said Setzer in a statement. “I’m truly sorry for the inconvenience this has caused all of the amazing people who make my tour happen and to my unbelievably loyal and devoted fans. I hate to let you down and I hope you’ll understand.”

Setzer is best known for his work with the Stray Cats, who he co-founded in 1979. The rockabilly group initially broke up in 1984, and have reformed sporadically since. Over their career, they have released 11 albums.
