At the Leeds festival this past weekend, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl was joined by his daughter, Violet, for a heartwarming rendition of the Foos’ My Hero.

“This has been a special trip for me because on this trip we have a new Foo Fighter in the band with us,” Grohl addressed the crowd, before hyping up the reveal: “Let me tell you something – she is the best fucking singer I know.” The Foos’ frontman then introduced Violet, and crowned her as the “best singer in the Grohl family”.

The duo subsequently jumped into My Hero, a track from Foo Fighters’ 1997 album, The Colour And The Shape. Grohl and Violet traded vocals on the opening verse before harmonising during the chorus.

Following their Leeds set, the Foos headed up to Reading Festival, where they dedicated a performance of Run to the late Prodigy singer Keith Flint.
