Lo-fi Indie-rockers Duster, a defining trio for the Slowcore movement (think Red House Painters and Codeine), have announced their next record will be released on 13 December this year. The self-titled release will be the first album from the group in almost 20 years. The band announced the release in an Instagram post, saying, understatedly, “new record out in december ok”.

The announcement comes after the band released the single Interstellar Tunnel in June this year. This single won’t be on the new album, which contains 12 entirely new cuts from the band.

In 2018, the band hinted at their return to the studio with another characteristically low-key Instagram post.

The LP comes on black vinyl and as a digital download.
