YouTube channel Isolated Tracks has shared the isolated guitar from Van Halen’s classic Panama, putting Eddie Van Halen’s lead and rhythm work front and centre.

The guitar track was taken from the 2015 remaster of 1984, showcasing EVH’s often underrated rhythm guitar work in a seamless take that exemplifies why Panama is still one of the most beloved songs in the Van Halen catalogue.

Some of EVH’s most memorable custom guitars will be used on Mammoth WVH’s upcoming sophomore album, Wolfgang Van Halen has shared. “The only thing I have left to do is track the guitar solos,” Wolfgang said of the album, adding, “So what I want to do is go through some of Pop’s notable guitars and do a solo with each of them.”

He specifically mentioned the Frankenstein and The Shark as guitars that he plans to use on the upcoming album. Wolfgang has previously used the Frankenstrat — the most famous of his father’s many customs — on two songs, Mammoth and Feel from the band’s self-titled debut album in 2021.
