Enter Shikari’s Rory Clewlow hosts an online guitar lesson for The Great Unknown
As part of Fender’s Artist Check-In.

Enter Shikari guitarist Rory Clewlow has teamed up with Fender for an ‘Artist Check-In’, running down his modified American Ultra Tele and teaching the riffs to the Shikari song The Great Unknown, taken from the band’s recent album Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible. Have a look at the video below.
Rory’s Telecaster isn’t extensively modified, in fact, the only thing he’s changed is the bridge: it’s now fitted with a chrome Evertune. Everything else is the same: “the character of the neck pickup, for me, is my favourite thing about Teles,” he says.
In a statement below the video, Fender also revealed that the brand will be making a donation to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund for every artist that contributes their time for an Artist Check-In.
Earlier this month, the band shared also shared their new live album The Last Spark, the latest instalment of their ongoing Bootleg series. The Last Spark is available to buy on a pay-what-you-want basis, with a minimum donation of £3. The album, recorded at the band’s show at Ancient Belgique in Brussels on 17 April, 2019, will go towards supporting the band’s crew through the coronavirus pandemic.
