I Guess I Just Feel Like is John Mayer’s first new offering of 2019. He croons about “a world that’s gone mad” on the bluesy track. Mayer wrote the song after a bout of writer’s block, he revealed on Instagram.

2Blood Of The Levant by Queensrÿche

Queensrÿche reflect on the historical events that led to the onset of the Syrian war in their single, Blood Of The Levant. The song comes from their 16th studio album, The Verdict, which was released today.

3A Neverending Explosion by Lee McKinney

Born Of Osiris have already dropped an album this year, and are planning another. Guitarist Lee McKinney, too, is readying a record of his own, led by the djenty single A Neverending Explosion.

4Chaos From Within by Bad Religion

Political punks Bad Religion are back. Their new, fast-paced song, Chaos From Within, is our first glimpse of their 17th album, Age of Unreason, due out in May.

5Black Brick by Deafheaven

On Black Brick, a B-side to Deafheaven’s 2018 album Ordinary Corrupt Human Love, the Claifornia band step away from the shoegaze side of their sound, leaning instead into the darkness of death metal.
