Come August, Chicago post-metal trio Russian Circles will return with a new seven-track album, Blood Year. Leading the way is the powerful single, Arluck.

Philadelphia punk rock outfit Mannequin Pussy continue to tease their sophomore album, Patience, with the single Who You Are. Tender lyricism combines with melodic guitar rock, and the result is an empowering love song.

The Colour Of Poison by Earth

Sheryl Crow has orchestrated a collaboration for the books with Live Wire. Bonnie Raitt and Mavis Staples join her on the rootsy cut off Threads, Crow’s new album of duets slated for release in the summer.
