Foals have confirmed the rest of their 2020 dates have been pushed back to next year due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The announcement follows news from last month, when the band revealed that their planned headline shows in Edinburgh, London, Blackpool and Birmingham, due to take place between 29 April and 9 May this year – had been pushed back by 12 months.

The band yesterday (6 May) revealed that the rest of their upcoming UK and EU dates have now all been pushed back to 2021, sharing the news on twitter: “The UK/EU headline tour has been pushed to 2021 … We can’t fucking wait.”

Foals are, of course, one of many bands affected by the pandemic, as live music across the world is effectively on hold until further notice. Lockdown uncertainty has led to later and later events being postponed or cancelled, for example despite delaying their upcoming Hotel California tour until Autumn 2020, Eagles have now pushed that back once again until 2021. Take a look at our full rundown of cancellations and delays here.
