The Foo Fighters may be dropping their 10th studio album soon.

Several teasers, showing the band’s “FF” logo beside an “X” (the Roman numeral for 10), have been spotted by fans in locations around Los Angeles.

One fan shared on Instagram that they spotted the image appear on the marquee of the Vogue Theater on Hollywood Boulevard.

The teaser was spotted once again over the weekend (31 October) in Sherman Oaks, California. A video shared by a Redditor showed the same teaser image being projected onto the side of a building before fading out to a black-and-white clip of a burning coffin.

Several other Redditors have pointed out that the aforementioned clip also appears when certain Foo Fighters songs – including The Pretender and These Days – are played on Spotify.

Back in February, band’s frontman Dave Grohl confirmed that the follow-up to 2017’s Concrete And Gold had already been recorded, according to NME.

Meanwhile, the band are set to perform at this weekend’s (7 November) post-election edition of Saturday Night Live, hosted by comedian Dave Chappelle. It’s possible they might debut new music at the performance.

Back in March, Grohl opened up about the upcoming Foo Fighters record saying that it will be “unlike anything we’ve ever done”. He said: “There are choruses on this record that 50-fucking-thousand people are gonna sing, and it’s gonna bring everyone’s fucking hearts together in that moment.”
