Gary Clark Jr. made his NPR Tiny Desk debut earlier this week. He popped by the iconic show to perform three tracks from his acclaimed third studio album, This Land.

Backed by a four-piece band, the bluesman delivered soulful renditions of What About Us, When I’m Gone and Pearl Cadillac.

It’s been a busy couple of weeks for the Texan, who was just in the spotlight last week for his contributions to Tom Morello’s Can’t Stop The Bleeding. He’s also been added to the bill for Eric Clapton’s Crossroads festival – for the third time – happening in September.
